Excellence in Education Since 1913
St. Joseph School

St. Joseph School, serving Santa Ana and Orange County since 1913, is a fully accredited K-8 Catholic school.

At
St. Joseph School, we understand that parents are the primary educators of their children. Together with parents, we seek to prepare our students for the 21st century, addressing the students' needs for spiritual, moral, academic, physical, and social growth.

At
St. Joseph School, we seek to prepare students academically for today's information/computer age, while providing students with the moral teaching and training found in scripture and church teaching that can provide a foundation for their lives.

Faculty
St. Joseph School's faculty is a mix of lay teachers and Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. All our teachers have California teaching credentials and several have Masters degrees.

Our teachers see their work as a mission of the Church and to the people of Orange County.

Students
At St. Joseph School come from many different cultures throughout Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. Students are challenged to show proficiency at each grade level.

At
St. Joseph School, we strive to foster in each student a sense of self worth, respect for others, and concern for the well-being of all people. Many of our students have gone on to graduate from local Catholic Catholic high schools such as Mater Dei, Servite, and Rosary.

Discipline
At St. Joseph School, we foster the growing maturity of our students through our Character program which stresses these four hallmarks: Catholic Identity, Dignity, Justice, and Excellence. Through this program we challenge ourselves and our students to reach the highest standards of conduct. We design our policies and promote behaviors that help create a safe and healthy environment where optimum learning can take place.

The Golden Rule, "treat others as you would have them treat you," is stressed. Each student is required to know and follow the rules, procedures, and policies of
St. Joseph School.

Curriculum
St. Joseph School features a curriculum that includes religion, language arts (language, writing, English/grammar, spelling, and composition), math, science, social studies, computers, Spanish, physical education, art, and music.

Each day, students at St. Joseph School receive instruction in the Catholic faith.
